When a driver ran a red light and totaled our car with our month old baby in the back seat, the insurance company offered us $2000 (combined, for all of us). Michael Goldfadden is by far one of the top personal injury attorneys in the state. Knowledgeable, professional, diligent, caring, and kind, he works extremely hard for the best possible resolution to a case. My wife and I were involved in an automobile accident wherein we were hit from behind by an inattentive driver. Both she and I suffered injuries that required prolonged medical care. The driver’s insurance company (Progressive) did not want to pay. They fought us every step of the way, in spite of the fact we could prove damages and that their client was to blame. To make matters worse, when we saw that the insurance company was going to be uncooperative, we hired an attorney who ended up retiring on us in the middle of our case. My wife and I searched for an attorney that would be willing to take up where the first attorney had left off but were unsuccessful for several months. Finally, we ran across Michael. Michael was great from the beginning. He agreed to take the case when no one else would. He dug deep and fought diligently against the insurance company and got them to pay the entire policy limit. Our damages exceeded the driver’s policy limit however, and Michael was able to obtain a full recovery though our uninsured / underinsured motorist insurance. Not only that, but Michael was able to negotiate down the medical liens that we had accumulated due to our injuries, something that he obtained no financial compensation for, thereby allowing us to pocket money in compensation for our pain and suffering. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone unfortunate enough to suffer an accident.
